    That’s a really great overview of the house and grounds. They had a lot of out buildings including a hay barn and smokehouse. It is said the house is haunted by the ghost of Aunt Sally Waln. A Hessian soldier was crossing the creek in the Revolutionary War and the spur fell off his boot. It was retrieved and returned to the house hundreds of years later.
